John and Vicki Young realized a lifelong dream when John, an engineer and machine designer by trade, invented a revolutionary way of drilling metals without extreme heat buildup. He patented the process and the “american dream” was born. They purchased 22 acres of picturesque land with mature trees and quiet meandering stream. With the help of Hochstetler Log Homes design team, a custom plan was drawn up.

The custom plan features an open-concept great room with a large stone fireplace and exposed timbers in the cathedral ceiling. The master bedroom is on the first floor with a large walk-in closet and master bath. Upstairs there are 2 additional bedrooms and a full bath. The finished home houses a wonderful eclectic mix of antiques and one of a kind handmade creations. The spectacular front porch has a timbered gable entry and posts with a stone foundation. The stunning outside features rich tones of grey and brown.
