We are specialists in the supply of Victorian ceramic wall & floor tiles both genuine and simulated. We have had a lifetime involvement in the ceramic tile industry, both in manufacturing and sales. The owners of Tile Source Inc. are descended from 18th century potters from Staffordshire England. The family founded Edge Malkin & Co, Pottery Manufacturers in the 1850's, and Malkin Edge and Co, in 1865. As Malkin Tiles (Burslem) Ltd, it became a major influence in tile design and innovation for many years. In 1974 the Smithsonian Institution sent an inquiry to England to replace the floor of the Arts & Industry building. As a result, a small plant was started to produce Encaustic & Geometric tiles almost for the first time in the 20th century.
